ARTIFICIAL GARDENS
Inspired by Awaji Yumebutai's garden (by architect Tadao Ando) this motion piece explores the intersection between the mutability of nature and the predictability of a structural grid.
The ball animation was created using a RBD simulation. The RBD than drives the creation of a mask that is used to change the pscale of the scattered flowers.
For the lighting I created four different sets. One main light group that affects the whole scene. A HDRI for the scattered flowers, another HDRI for the balls and a fourth one to create reflections on the green garden plants.
Created with Houdini and Redshift. Assets from Megascans
